Who are we?

Do Something Different, better known as 'DSD' is a Saint Lucian, youth-driven, non-profit organization. We strive to strengthen youth relationships, sensitize the public of the high cost of education and ease academic financial burdens on students across the island. We are visionaries. We are passionate. We are the leaders of tomorrow.

On February 10th 2017, four young ladies joined forces to make a change on the island of Saint Lucia. As we celebrated three years of existence in February 2020, this number has grown from four to thirty-seven members with a branch recently launched in Canada in 2019. Do Something Different was launched with a plan to rally family members and friends to all come together to “Give a little, Help a lot” in hopes of making a difference within the communities. Now, with much enthusiastic support from other young person’s eager to volunteer and do their part, the organization has grown into a movement of “Youth Empowering Youth for Success”. Using millennial’s favorite resource, technology and social media, Do Something Different reaches out to the general public, challenging them to do their part to contribute to building a better society. As an entirely youth driven, non-profit organization, we strive to strengthen youth relationships, sensitize the public of the high cost of education and ease academic financial burdens on low income families.
